What's The Panasonic TX-P50G10 TV Like?

The latest plasma TV release by Panasonic is it's Panasonic TX-P50G10, which is their newest large screen plasmas TV at 50". It is one of the middle range priced plasmas and this should make it a good option for those who are looking for something big, especially for those sports fans out there.

The display this TV has is absolutely perfect for HDTV with dimensions of 1920 by 1080 pixels. This TV has new technology which gives plasma TVs a better rap. Most of which have been known to be energy hogs, whereas this new Panasonic TX-P50G10 claims to save on energy.

Displaying motion well has been an issue plaguing plasma TVs for a long time now, but the Panasonic TX-P50G10 seems to have taken care of this particular problem. It's new technology has the ability to capture quick movements and blazing fast motion in less than a second. Movies and sports programs that contain a lot of movement can now be viewed flawlessly on a large plasma screen. This improvement has a lot to do with some new features they have added such as the natural vision filter and another feature called intelligent frame creation. Overall, these new features lead to a brilliant picture while capturing motion all at the same time.

To ensure that the color is at it's utmost, the Panasonic TX-P50G10 has what is called a double scan which helps to ensure that color transitions are mainly gradual and unnoticeable to the naked eye. Along with the exceptional picture this TV gives off due to mostly it's processing engine called the Vreal4 it has exceptional audio as well.

This particular model also comes with what Panasonic calls a "tough screen". What this is, is a screen that can hold up to small blows to the actual screen. This feature on the Panasonic TX-P50G10 is a great feature to have if you have children horsing around in the room the TV might be in.

Tests have been done on this particular model to test the sharpness and clarity of the picture and it stood up pretty well against all the tests when testing a television program, but when tested with a DVD, the tests did notice that there was a little bit of flickering when DVDs were played on the Panasonic TX-P50G10.

When the clarity and sharpness were put to the test, while watching regular television, only showed a small amount of variation and was rated near perfect on all counts. When the contrast on the Panasonic TX-P50G10 was tested, it tested perfect. The testing responses for this TV came out extremely good, especially for a plasma TV.

If you are looking for a television that offers you a variety of features, you're not going to find that with the Panasonic TX-P50G10. Instead the only thing extra that it offers is an SD card reader where it can read different memory cards for jpegs and some videos.

This model is however; equipped to be able to receive any kind of broadcast that is available to customers. There is no need for any type of converters for anything. So, if picture quality is you top concern, and features are really not very important to you, then may find that the Panasonic TX-P50G10 will probably the perfect fit for you.
